wayfind is a chat-only platform for live local advice. It is not a dating app, a meet-up app, or a rideshare. Here's how we keep both sides safe.
Tiered verification — risk-weighted, not blanket
Customers verify with phone (SMS code) and a selfie liveness check — about 30 seconds. Hosts add a government ID (passport, licence, or national ID), a payout method, and a background check before they can earn. Verification is handled by a regulated identity partner; wayfind never stores raw ID images. Friction is matched to risk: the people earning money on the platform face the strictest checks.
Chat-only by design — no meet-ups, ever
wayfind exists for typed conversations. Hosts cannot ask to meet, share private contact details, or move customers to other apps. Customers cannot request meet-ups either. Either party doing so is removed on the first report — no warnings.
Not a dating platform. Zero tolerance for sexual content or harassment.
Any sexual messaging, romantic advances, requests for photos, comments on appearance, or pressure of any kind results in immediate, permanent removal and a ban from re-registering. We cooperate with law enforcement on any credible report of harassment, coercion, or assault. There is no second chance for this category.
One-tap reporting, reviewed within 24 hours
Anything off — pushing to meet, sexual or romantic content, foul language, illegal requests, scams, off-platform contact requests — report it from the chat. Reports are triaged within 24 hours. Hosts can report customers; customers rate hosts on the quality of their advice.
If you ignore the rules and meet anyway
We strongly advise against meeting anyone you've chatted with on wayfind. If you choose to anyway, that decision and any consequences are entirely yours. wayfind does not vet meeting locations, transport, or any in-person activity. Stay in public, tell someone where you are, and trust your gut.

Every host recommendation is their personal opinion, like advice from a friend. Use it alongside your own research and judgement. wayfind and its hosts are not liable for the outcome of any visit, booking, or purchase.
